Tips For bath sealing

When replacing a bath seal or putting a new seal on a fresh install always make sure area is clean from dirt of any kind the cleaner the area the better the seal.

When removing the old seal, you will need to ensure as much as humanly possible is removed from bath edge and wall

Using a window scraper along with a Stanley knife for this removal process gives the best results

Once all of the old seals and dirt have been removed you will need to clean down the area again and double check prepared area

If you have had any mould along bath seals once seal removed clean area with a mould cleaner to remove remaining

If there is any mould trapped in grout where seal makes contact with grout scrap it out and replace if tiles are not being re grouted at present

Prepare your silicone and silicone gun by cutting open tube adding nozzle and the cutting a 45degree angle at end of nozzle
